KAPAMANA VLOG CONTEST MAKING
Theme: “KwentongPAMANA”


Aligned on the National Heritage Month Celebration and in accordance with the group objective, we will be having a vlogging contest which aims to feature and promote the rich cultural heritage site on our city like the 12 Spanish Colonial Arched Bridges, Old Churches and Old Crosses. With social media as a medium, the video’s that will be submitted to our group after the competition will served as a promotional tool that will surely help the city in terms of tourism.


KWENTONG PAMANA VLOGGING CONTEST MECHANICS:

1.   The concept of this contest is to further promote and cite the historical importance while discussing the relevance of heritage sites (eg. Bridges) in Tayabas to the life of the modern Tayabense;

2.   The VLog setting should feature or incorporate a particular heritage site/s in whatever approach the creator/contestant desires wherein the script should revolve around the concept;

3.   The participant can choose between voice-over and live voice videos although bear in mind that “live voice” has more weight in judging;

4.   Registration forms are available from OST-THG members. The participant should fill out the registration form with the following complete details: Full name, address, contact number, and e-mail address. Please contact email osttayabasheritage@gmail.com;

5.   Each contestant is entitled to one entry. Video entries must be stored to a USB flash drive inside a brown envelope along with the accomplished registration sheet. Entries must be sealed, signed, and submitted it to MR. KEVIN PABULAYAN (OST THG Inc/Chairperson) at the Office of the City Administrator, LGU Tayabas Main Building, San Diego Zone-1, Tayabas City before May 4, 2020;

6.   Video duration should be a minimum of 4.5 minutes and a maximum of 7 minutes only. The video should be in mp4/mpeg/mov/avi format;

7.   Deadline for submission of entry is on May 4, 2020;

8.   Determination of winners will be held during the Mayohan Festival 2020 at Tayabas City. Due to privacy and concerns regarding bias, the names of the judges will be announced only at the day of the awarding;

9.   There will be 3 major prizes (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) consolation prizes will also be given to participants;

10.        The winners will be announced along with the awarding of prizes on May 16, 2020 (subject to change). The winner/s must present his/her Student’s ID updated enrolment form). Winners’ name and the winning pieces will also be posted at the OST-THG’s social media accounts along with the other entries;

11.        In case of absence during the awarding of prizes, the redemption period is good until 60 days from receipt of notification. Prizes can be claimed from Mr. Michael Vincent Pabulayan (Office of the City Administrator, LGU Tayabas Main Building. Unclaimed prize/s shall be forfeited with prior publication to the OST-THG’s social media pages and a written resolution from the group’s officers;

12.        The the contest is open to all enrolled Tayabasin students up to college. Bonafide members of OST-THG are disqualified from joining the contest;

13.        Contestants should agree to be featured in promotion-related publicity and all submitted materials will automatically be the property of OST-THG. In regards to this, all public exhibition/s of the submitted materials, be it whole or in edited portions will have due recognition of credits to the content creator.

The registration form must be submitted to the Office of the City Mayor – Extension Office and look for MS. KEISSY RAYEL on/or before May 4, 2020, Wednesday, 5:00pm.
